The study of how culture shapes society and how society constructs culture.

Culture: The set of beliefs, values, practices, behaviours and artifacts that shape a group or society.
Society: A group of individuals who share a common culture and who interact and depend on each other for survival.
Socialization: The process by which individuals learn and internalize the norms, customs, and values of their culture.
Identity: The way individuals see themselves in relation to others, often influenced by cultural norms and expectations.
Race and Ethnicity: The categorization of people based on shared physical and cultural characteristics.
Gender: The socially constructed roles, behaviours, and expectations associated with being male or female.
Power: The ability to influence and control the behaviour of others, often related to social status and privilege.
Social Institutions: Established systems or structures in society that organize and regulate behaviour, such as family, education, and religion.
Globalization: The increasing interconnectedness of cultures and societies around the world through trade, communication, and technology.
Consumer Culture: The focus on consuming goods and services as a means of expressing identity and social status.
Cultural Theory: The study of the social and cultural aspects of human life.
Cultural Practices: The study of shared cultural activities and how they reflect and reinforce social norms.
Culture and Power: The study of the role of culture in shaping and reproducing power relationships.
Cultural Production: The study of how culture is created, disseminated, and consumed.
Cultural Consumption: The study of how people use cultural products to express themselves and create social identities.
Cultural Identity: The study of how people construct and understand their sense of self and belonging within cultural frameworks.
