The ways gender is communicated through clothing, behavior, and appearance.

Gender Identity: A person's sense of being male, female, a blend of both or neither. It's how they internally perceive, experience and define their gender.
Gender Expression: The way a person expresses their gender through clothing, hairstyles, mannerisms, and other behaviors.
Gender Roles: The societal expectations and norms associated with gender that dictate how men and women should behave, dress, and interact with others.
Sex Assigned At Birth: A label assigned to babies based on their visible genitalia at birth, which is often used to determine their gender.
Gender Stereotypes: Generalizations and assumptions based on gender that are often oversimplified and limit a person's full range of identity and expression.
Androgyny: Having a gender identity or expression that combines both masculine and feminine characteristics, or not identifying with either gender at all.
Gender Dysphoria: A condition where a person experiences distress due to a mismatch between their gender identity and sex assigned at birth.
Transgender: A person whose gender identity does not match the sex they were assigned at birth.
Nonbinary: Having a gender identity that is neither exclusively male nor female, or identifying as both genders or neither gender.
Cisgender: A person whose gender identity matches the sex they were assigned at birth.
Gender Nonconforming: A person whose gender expression does not conform to traditional gender norms.
Genderqueer: Having a gender identity that is not restricted to traditional gender categories.
Intersectionality: The interconnected and overlapping aspects of a person's identity such as race, gender, class, sexual orientation, and ability that influence their experiences of discrimination and privilege.
Pronouns: Words used to refer to people in conversation or text, such as he, she, they, or ze, that reflect a person's gender identity.
Transphobia: Fear, hatred, or discrimination against transgender and gender diverse individuals.
Gender Equity: The fair and equal treatment and opportunities for individuals of all genders.
