Having a gender identity that is not restricted to traditional gender categories.

Gender identity: Refers to a person's internal sense of being male, female, both, neither, or somewhere in between.
Gender expression: Refers to the way a person presents themselves to others, which can be masculine, feminine, or androgynous.
Pronouns: Refers to the use of gender-neutral pronouns such as they/them, xe/xir, ze/hir, or other self-selected pronouns.
Non-binary genders: Refers to gender identities that are not exclusively male or female, such as genderfluid, agender, demigender, and others.
Transgender identity: Refers to people whose gender identity does not align with the sex assigned to them at birth.
Intersectionality: Refers to the interconnected nature of social identities such as race, gender, sexuality, class, and others.
Cisgender privilege: Refers to the societal advantages that cisgender people have over genderqueer people, such as being able to use a public restroom without fear of harassment or violence.
Coming out: Refers to the process of disclosing one's gender identity or expression to others.
Gender dysphoria: Refers to discomfort or distress caused by the mismatch between one's gender identity and assigned sex.
Healthcare: Refers to the medical and healthcare needs of genderqueer people, such as hormone replacement therapy or gender affirmation surgery.
Legal issues: Refers to the legal protections and rights of genderqueer people, such as discrimination protections and legal recognition of non-binary genders.
Allies: Refers to people who support and advocate for genderqueer individuals and their rights.
