The study of the nature of reality, including questions about the existence of God, free will, and the soul.

Ontology: The study of existence, reality, and nature of beings or entities.
Epistemology: The study of knowledge and its acquisition methods.
Cosmology: The study of the universe's origin, structure, and dynamics.
Axiology: The study of values and value systems.
Teleology: The study of purpose and design in natural processes and systems.
Theology: The study of religious beliefs and phenomena.
Mind and body problem: The inquiry into the nature and relationship of the physical body and consciousness.
Free will and determinism: The philosophical debate over the extent of individual freedom versus the predetermined course of events.
Idealism: The philosophical view that reality is primarily a mental construct or perception.
Materialism: The philosophical view that matter is the fundamental substance of the universe.
Dualism: The philosophical view that the universe is composed of two fundamentally different substances, typically mind and matter.
Monism: The philosophical view that everything in the universe is ultimately composed of a single substance or principle.
Metaphysical realism: The philosophical belief that reality exists independently of human consciousness or perception.
Metaphysical anti-realism: The philosophical belief that reality is in some way dependent on human consciousness or perception.
Feminism: The philosophical inquiry into the nature and causes of gender inequality and discrimination.
Existentialism: The philosophical inquiry into the nature of being and existence, freedom, choice, and meaning.
Phenomenology: The philosophical inquiry into subjective experiences, perception, and consciousness.
Ontological relativism: The philosophical belief that reality is subjective and varies between individuals or cultures.
Reductionism: The philosophical belief that complex phenomena can be explained by reducing them to simpler systems.
Emergentism: The philosophical belief that complex phenomena cannot be reduced to simpler systems and must be understood as a holistic concept.
Ontology: This type of metaphysics is concerned with the nature of being and existence in general. It explores the different categories of existence, such as substance, quality, quantity, causality, and relation.
Epistemology: Epistemology is the branch of metaphysics that deals with knowledge and belief. It explores the nature, sources, and limitations of knowledge, truth, and justification.
Ethics: Ethics is the branch of metaphysics that deals with the nature of morality and values. It explores questions about good and evil, virtue and vice, freedom and responsibility, and justice and fairness.
Aesthetics: Aesthetics is the branch of metaphysics that deals with the nature of aesthetics and beauty. It explores the role of art, creativity, perception, and imagination in shaping our understanding and appreciation of beauty in the world.
Cosmology: Cosmology is the branch of metaphysics that deals with the nature of the universe and the cosmos as a whole. It explores questions about the origin, structure, and fate of the universe, its laws and constants, and the possible existence of other worlds or dimensions.
Mind-body problem: This is a specific area of metaphysics that deals with the relationship between mind and body. It asks questions about consciousness, identity, free will, and the relation between mental states and physical processes.
