Bipolar Multipolarity

This type of Multipolarity refers to a system in which two superpowers or major states dominate the world order after the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991. The primary example of such a system is the Cold War, where the US and the Soviet Union faced off against each other, and the world order was broadly divided into two opposing poles. In this type of system, the two poles would try to contest and prevent political, economic, and military power from attaining a dominant position in the world.
