This approach examines gender and power relations in society, with a focus on social justice and equity.

Intersectionality: Recognizing the multiple identities and experiences of women in relation to systems of power and oppression.
Patriarchy: A system of social, political, and economic power that privileges men over women and perpetuates gender inequality.
Sexism: Discrimination, prejudice, or stereotyping based on someone's gender.
Feminism: A social, political, and cultural movement that advocates for gender equality and the empowerment of women.
Gender roles: Societal expectations and norms placed on individuals based on their gender.
Sexual orientation: An individual's romantic and/or sexual attraction to others.
Race and ethnicity: Socially constructed categories used to divide and classify people based on physical characteristics and cultural identity.
Transgender and non-binary identities: Gender identities and expressions that do not conform to traditional male and female categories.
Queer theory: An approach to gender and sexuality that challenges traditional assumptions about sexual identity categories and the ways in which they are constructed in society.
Reproductive rights: The right to make decisions about one's own body and reproductive health.
Media representation and cultural stereotypes: How media and popular culture perpetuate gender, racial, and ethnic biases and stereotypes.
Intersectional activism: The practice of working towards social justice by taking into account the intersecting oppressions that individuals face.
Global feminism: Understanding the ways in which gender inequality and oppression manifest differently across the world and developing strategies for combating these inequalities on a global scale.
Masculinity studies: The impact of cultural expectations and norms placed on men.
Disability studies: Analyses of ways in which ableism and discrimination are stated towards individuals with disabilities.
Black Feminist Studies: A field that primarily focuses on the intersection of race, gender, and class to understand the experiences of Black women.
Queer Feminist Studies: This field examines the intersection of sexual orientation and gender identity to understand the experiences of LGBTQ+ people.
Postcolonial Feminist Studies: This field explores the intersection of colonialism and patriarchy to understand the experiences of women in colonized countries.
