Ionization Constant (Ka/Kb)

Home > Chemistry > Chemical Equilibrium > Equilibrium Constant (Kc/Kp) > Ionization Constant (Ka/Kb)

This is the equilibrium constant for the ionization of weak acids or bases. It is defined as the product of the concentration of the products (H+ or OH-) raised to their stoichiometric coefficients, divided by the concentration of the acid or base.
