Nose grind: Grinding with the front truck on a rail and the back truck lifted in the air.

Smith grind: Grinding with the back truck on a rail and the front truck lifted up.

Boardslide: Sliding the skateboard with the underside against a rail or ledge.

Nose slide: Similar to boardslide but with the nose of the board sliding on the rail.

Tail slide: Similar to boardslide but with the tail of the board sliding on the rail.

Hurricane: Turning 90 degrees and sliding the board on the rail with the back truck while balancing on the front truck.
