The process of managing the flow of goods and services from the manufacturing of the materials to the delivery of the products to the customers.

Warehousing: The holding and storage of goods and materials in a facility, including inventory management, picking, and packing.
Distribution: The process of delivering goods and services to customers, including order fulfillment, transportation, and inventory management.
Supply Chain Planning: The strategic and operational planning of supply chain activities, including forecasting, scheduling, capacity planning, and risk management.
Supplier Management: The process of managing relationships with suppliers, including sourcing, bidding, and performance evaluation.
Demand Planning: The process of forecasting customer demand for goods and services, including data analysis, trend analysis, and demand shaping.
Reverse Logistics: The process of managing the return of goods and materials from customers to suppliers, including product recalls, repairs, and disposal.
Sustainment: The process of managing the logistics and support of military operations to ensure that troops have the necessary supplies and equipment they need to carry out their mission.
Acquisition: The process of procuring goods and services for the military. This includes everything from purchasing weapons and vehicles to acquiring food and clothing.
Distribution: The process of getting supplies and equipment from the point of origin to the point of use. This can include transportation, storage, and inventory management.
