Casting and Molding Processes: The process of creating objects by pouring molten or liquid materials into a mold or cast, allowing them to harden, and removing the finished product.
Additive Manufacturing: The use of computer-controlled machines to create objects by layering materials on top of one another, rather than removing excess material.
Assembly and Finishing Techniques: The final stage of the manufacturing process, which involves assembling individual components and applying various finishes (e.g. paint, coatings, polishing) to create a final product.
Quality Control and Process Improvement: The methods used to ensure that manufactured products meet specified quality standards, as well as the ongoing optimization of manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
Industrial Automation and Robotics: The use of automated technologies and robotic systems to perform tasks typically carried out by human workers, such as assembly, painting, and packaging.

Lean Manufacturing: The methodology developed in Japan during the late 1980s and early 1990s. Lean manufacturing seeks to eliminate waste within manufacturing systems, operations and production. It focuses on efficiency, improving quality, reducing inventory and minimizing costs.
Additive Manufacturing: Additive manufacturing, also known as 3D printing, involves building three-dimensional objects layer by layer from a digital file, using a variety of materials.
Casting: Casting is a manufacturing process in which molten metal or other materials are poured into a mold to solidify into a desired shape.
Cutting: Cutting involves the use of knives, blades, or other sharp instruments to shape a given material by cutting it into smaller pieces or by trimming it to a specified size.
Forming: Forming includes various processes such as forming, bending, drawing, stretching, and pressing that allows a sheet, rod, or tube to be shaped into a desired shape.
Joining: Joining involves connecting two or more materials or parts to create a permanent bond. Welding, brazing, and soldering are some examples of joining methods.
Machining: Machining involves the removal of material from a workpiece using a cutting tool to shape and form a desired product. Milling, drilling, and turning are examples of machining methods.
Molding: Molding is a process by which molten material is injected into a mold to produce a 3-dimensional shape. Injection molding and blow molding are examples of molding processes.
Powder Metallurgy: Powder metallurgy is a process of manufacturing metal parts from metal powders by compacting and sintering.
Stamping: Stamping is the process of punching, cutting, or shaping sheet metal or other materials into a desired shape using a die press.
Surface Treatment: Surface treatment involves applying a coating or treatment to the surface of a product to improve resistance to corrosion, wear, and other factors. Examples of surface treatment methods include painting, plating, and coating.
Thermal Processing: Thermal processing is a manufacturing process in which materials are heated to high temperatures to alter their physical properties. Annealing and heat treating are examples of thermal process methods.
Turning: Turning is a machining process that involves the rotation of a workpiece as it is machined by a cutting tool to create a cylindrical shape.
