Developing an awareness of social and cultural inequalities, and the ability to analyze and challenge systems of oppression and injustice.

Critical Pedagogy: This refers to the philosophy and practice of teaching that focuses on challenging social injustices and promoting equality.
Intersectionality: This is the study of how different social identities intersect and interact with one another, such as race, gender, sexuality, and class.
Social Justice: This is the pursuit of fair and equitable treatment for all members of society, particularly those who have been historically marginalized.
Cultural Identity: This includes the notion of how individuals identify themselves within the context of their cultural heritage, norms, and values.
Bias and Stereotyping: This is the recognition of the influence of prejudice and bias in discriminatory practices and the importance of challenging such stereotypes.
Privilege and Power: Understanding the ways in which societal institutions grant privileges to some groups while oppressing others.
Multiculturalism: The acceptance and appreciation of cultural diversity; the pursuit of respect for diverse cultures and ways of life.
Transformative Learning: The process of changing one's mindset and embracing new ideas that challenge previously held beliefs and perspectives.
